A History Of Scotland

Bringing alive the past, which has shaped modern Scotland, is at the heart of this major initiative Scotland’s History from BBC Scotland. The landmark ten-part series, which is being co-produced with the Open University, is the catalyst for a raft of radio programming, a new website, interactive game, audio walks, concerts and events going through to late 2009.

The first half of the series is formed of the following programs:

The Last of the Free (AD 84 – 943)
Hammers of the Scots (1214 – 1305)
Bishop Makes King (1306 – 1332)
Language is Power (1411 – 1503)
Project Britain (1543 – 1603)

Thanks for those links. Very interesting and lively although the narrator is sometimes to much “in love” with his subject for my taste.
The Website is also worth the visit.
